Cuyuna State Recreation Area, Ironton
Held at Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area, this race uses 6 natural spring lakes and the famous park trail system. Enjoy clear water swimming and spectacular horizon views along the run course. Choose either the long course or short course distance. Both race distances are appropriate for all experience levels including first-timers.

Important: There is no race day registration.
Each participant must be a registered member of USA Triathlon OR purchase a one day membership for the day of the race. USA Triathlon memberships will be verified in the race registration process. One day memberships will be an additional $15 per participant and will be vended during the registration process.
Team registration includes:
Food and aid stations along the course
Timing, GPS tracking and results service
Post-race recovery food at race finish line

All participants MUST check in. Per USAT rules, each participant MUST pick up his/her own packet. If you do not check in during the designated check-in times in person, you will not be able to participate in the event. All participants must bring the following to Athlete Check-In/Gear Check:
USAT membership card to show proof of annual membership unless you purchased a one-day USAT event insurance at the time you registered for the event.
Waterproof Pressure Bandage OR First Aid Kit*
*IGNITE Merch will have these available for purchase on-site if you forget.
Mandatory Pre-Race Course Briefing
Saturday, August 10 at 7:15 AM - The mandatory pre-race course breifing will cover important information about the race and include a question and answer segment. All participants are required to attend this meeting.
The Athlete Guide will be published approximately two-weeks prior to race day.
The award ceremony will be located near the finish area. Awards will be given to participants who earn 1st through 3rd place in the following divisions: Long Course and Short Course Male Team, Female Team, Co-Ed Team, Spark (solo) Male and Spark (solo) Female.

We are always looking for volunteers who want to be part of the team. We have opportunities as kayakers, lifeguards, boat drivers, aid station minders and finish line staff.
